YRCI Albania envisions a society where young people are at the forefront of advocating and acting for their rights, well-being, and inclusive participation in civic life. It aspires to create a vibrant community of young activists, leaders, and changemakers who are equipped with the necessary skills, knowledge, and opportunities to contribute positively to their societies. Through its work, YRCI Albania aims to inspire and prepare a new generation for a sustainable future marked by cooperation, educational and cultural exchange, advocacy, volunteering, and a deep commitment to equality and shared values. By laying down a strong foundation based on these principles, YRCI Albania strives to make a significant impact on the lives of young people and the broader community, fostering a culture of active citizenship, mutual understanding, and respect for diversity and human rights.

Awareness Raising

This pillar focuses on increasing the consciousness of society about the challenges and opportunities facing young people and the community at large. YRCI Albania undertakes a variety of activities aimed at educating the public and specific target groups about the importance of youth rights, active citizenship, and community engagement. Through organizing meetings, seminars, conferences, and television programs, YRCI strives to highlight the potential of young people to contribute to societal development and the critical issues that affect them. This not only informs the community but also mobilizes support for youth-related causes.

Visibility of Citizen/Youth Activation

Under this pillar, YRCI Albania works to enhance the visibility of youth and citizen engagement in civic activities. The organization believes in the power of active participation and seeks to showcase successful examples of youth taking initiative, leading projects, and making a difference in their communities. By increasing the visibility of such activations, YRCI encourages more young people to get involved and take action. This involves promoting youth-led initiatives at local, national, and international levels and working with policymakers, civil society organizations, and other stakeholders to ensure young people’s voices are heard and their contributions are recognized.

Capacity Building

The third pillar is focused on equipping young people with the skills and knowledge they need to effectively contribute to their communities and the wider world. YRCI Albania offers training and educational opportunities that cover a broad spectrum of areas, including soft skills, vocational education and training (VET), project management, and leadership development. By encouraging the creation of facilities for capacity building, activism, advocacy, and skills development, YRCI aims to nurture a generation of empowered, knowledgeable, and skilled young leaders. These programs are designed not only for personal development but also to prepare participants to serve as trainers and mentors to their peers, thereby amplifying the impact of YRCI’s initiatives.
